Shopify publication errors

Introduction

Once you have published one or more products on your sales channels, you must check the ads report, where you can examine any errors and apply the necessary changes for the successful publication of the products. Below is a list of the possible publication errors on Shopify and instructions on how to resolve them.

HTTP error code : 406

Shopify is blocking ads as it does not accept HTPP images that are deemed not secure.

Open a ticket in SellRapido to learn more and find out how to resolve it.

HTTP error code : 403

Check this guide to see if the Shopify back office configurations are correct.

If there are no errors, open a ticket on Shopify to ask how to resolve the “write_products scope” permission.

HTTP error code.: 502

This is a Shopify network error. Wait for a while and relaunch the ads

Go to Pre-sale > Ad reports > select Shopify and the relevant listing > Report on current selection > click on No. errors > select the ads with errors (the rows will turn yellow) > Resubmit the selected ads.

Alternatively, you can click on Resubmit all ads; all ads with an error will be relaunched.

Daily upload limit

You are publishing too many ads at once and the number exceeds daily upload limit set by Shopify.

Go to the Shopify publication settings for the relevant listing and change the include filters. You will now have to publish listings gradually.
